León is preparing to host a new edition of ANPIC Autumn-Winter 2026, one of the most representative exhibitions in the supply chain sector in Latin America, which will bring together manufacturers, buyers, and specialists from more than 20 countries.

The presentation of this edition included the participation of the municipal president, Ale Gutiérrez, who highlighted the importance of maintaining an industry that is part of the identity and economic development of the city.

During his intervention, he recognized the ability of the León companies to evolve, incorporate new technologies and respond to the needs of international markets, without losing the tradition and experience that have distinguished León for generations.

A showcase for innovation and business

The 68th edition of ANPIC will take place on an exhibition area of 22,000 square meters, where participating companies will present a wide variety of materials, components and solutions for the industry, including leather, textiles, machinery, soles, hardware and accessories.

In addition to facilitating the meeting between suppliers and buyers, the exhibition will allow for the knowledge of fashion and design trends for the autumn-winter 2027-2028 season, offering new perspectives for product development.

As part of the new features of this edition, ANPIC will have three specialized pavilions:

  • Western: dedicated to products such as hats, belts, leather goods and accessories.
  • Security: focused on materials and products for occupational protection, such as reflective clothing, lenses, and non-slip soles.
  • Universitario: a space for young talents to present design proposals and establish links with companies in the sector.

The program also includes conferences, workshops and a catwalk, with activities related to fashion, design, sustainability, trends and technology.

León strengthens its presence in new markets

During the presentation, Mauricio Ruiz Campos, president of the Association of Industrial Suppliers Companies of Mexico (APIMEX), pointed out that the future of the industry depends on its ability to innovate, keep abreast of international trends, and adopt technological tools that allow it to compete in new markets.

In this sense, ANPIC represents a platform to generate business connections, exchange knowledge, and bring Mexican companies closer to new opportunities for growth.

The economic significance of this event is reflected in the results of its 2025 edition, when it brought together 8,740 buyers, 855 stands and 292 brands, with sales exceeding 370 million pesos and an economic spillover that exceeded 121 million pesos.

Tradition and talent that drive León's future

The Municipal Government of León reiterated its commitment to maintain collaboration with APIMEX and the business sector to promote economic development, strengthen local supply, and favor the creation of jobs.

Ale Gutiérrez emphasized that the value of this industry goes beyond its economic contribution, as it represents a fundamental part of the history, identity, and pride of the León families.

With the celebration of ANPIC Autumn-Winter 2026, León reaffirms its role as a strategic meeting point for the procurement industry, where the experience of its manufacturers, the talent of new generations, and innovation come together to open up opportunities within and outside of Mexico.
